CRESCENT CITY CONJURE OPENS ITS DOORS IN THE HEART OF NEW ORLEANS’ HISTORIC MARIGNY NEGHBORHOOD WITH

NOLA’S FIRST AFRICAN-AMERICAN-OWNED CONJURE SHOP

Owner Sen Elias Expands Established Online Business with First Brick & Mortar Shop, Bringing His Expertise and Spiritual Guidance in All Things Witchcraft and Hoodoo to Community He Lives in and the People He Cares For

NEW ORLEANS, LA – June 13, 2018 – Online shop and community-centered organization, Crescent City Conjure, will open its first brick and mortar store, New Orleans’ first African American-owned conjure shop, on June 21, 2018. Founder and owner, Sen Elias, a devoted practitioner of witchcraft, hoodoo, and conjure for 20 years, will offer clients and guests a variety of handmade products and spiritual services in the historic storefront, which also includes a separate parlor for personal and private tarot card readings.

Completely unique to Crescent City Conjure, the shop will also feature a full-service oil bar where custom oils will be prepared and tailored to meet every guest’s particular wants and needs.

The exposed brick and hardwood floors throughout our new space gives me a feeling of nostalgia…remembering a time when all things were made by hand,” said Sen Elias of his new space. “I wanted to accentuate that vibe with my own original vision. I want our guests and clients to feel welcomed when they step through our doors.”

Crescent City Conjure is well known for quality handmade, all-natural magical products. “Our products are powerful, effective, and authentic,” Sen Elias continued. “We take great pride in being a beacon for the community.”

The new shop, located at 2402 Royal Street at the corner of Mandeville Street, will sell candles, specialized oils and powders, baths and soaps, a variety of gris-gris bags, incense, herbs, and various curios. In addition to tarot, Sen Elias will also offer a number of other spiritual services. (Consults can be scheduled upon request.)

Sen Elias has been a special guest at many community events and festivals, including New Orleans’ own HexFest: A Weekend of Witchery. He enjoys spreading the knowledge he has gained by teaching one-on-one, private classes to eager learners on a wide selection of related topics.

To celebrate the shop’s grand opening on June 21st, 2018, Sen Elias and the Crescent City Conjure team invite the community to attend a crawfish boil at the shop 2402 Royal Street that evening starting at 6:00pm.
